Founder and inventor of the Ginastica Natural method, Alvaro Romano currently lives in the United States, in the city of San Diego, and his method can be found in several countries in the form of seminars and diploma programs. Ginastica Natural is a registered trademark in Brazil and Abroad and Romano is the director and owner of "Ginastica Natural Consultoria e Eventos" (Ginastica Natural Consulting and Events)


He has a Post-Graduate degree in Physical Education and Recreation, author of the book “Ginastica Natural” (Press publishing house, 1987), Romano is also present in the collection “Uma antologia sobre atividades fisicas” (“An anthology on physical activities”) (Midiograf publishing, 1987). He is also produced the dvd's Ginástica Natural in Brazil, Ginastica Natural for fighters and Fundamentals of Ginastica Natural for the United States. He taught Ginastica Natural courses for the Physical Therapy and Physical Education department’s of Estacio de Sa University. Having administered hundreds of courses, lectures and seminars in universities and events in Brazil and such countries as Portugal, Switzerland, Italy, the United States, Peru, Mexico, Australia, Alvaro Romano applied his special Ginastica Natural training routine to agents of the FBI, DEA and SWAT in Washington DC. He also taught a seminar and gave a demonstration of Ginastica Natural at the "Arnold Schwarzenegger Classic", widely considered one of the greatest sporting events in the world, and taught degree programs in several cities. Alvaro Romano is a specialist in Health and Quality of life, and he implements his training program in companies by way of lectures and seminars. Through articles in magazines and newspapers in Brazil, the United States, Japan, Australia, Portugal, Italy, Ginastica Natural is winning over the international media for being a revolutionary physical-fitness and health-improvement method.


Alvaro Romano is a Jiu-Jitsu black belt, his master was Rolls Gracie, and he later trained with Carlos Gracie Junior and Rickson Gracie. He is also a brown belt in judo, participated in triathlon races and long-distance swimming. Romano was one of the first surfers in Rio de Janeiro to practice Jiu-Jitsu.


Alvaro Romano developed Ginastica Natural for fighters using his years of experience as a Jiu-Jitsu fighter, keeping up with the sport’s evolution by training athletes and participating in events around the world.
